The Mix-Up: Star Fashion!

Blog By: Jaclyn Zepnick

There were so many smokin’ hot dresses on the red carpet (and suits, let’s not discriminate on the men) last night on the red carpet. It’s hard to say who was the best dressed but we compiled our top picks of the night and some of those who well, could’ve re-thought their outfits…

The Good:

Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton…such a beautiful coral color that really pops her face to life per usual Michelle.

Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad truly shined in transparent crystal beading and plunging neckline.

Missi Pyle flowed in Valentina Delfino, which is purely green and environmentally friendly, made of 100% organic silk and recycled polyester…way to rock it for herself and the world!

Milla Jovovich channeled old Hollywood glamour in Elie Saab Haute Couture .

Jessica Chastain in a bold Alexander McQueen black and gold gown….love it or hate it, what do you think?

The Bad:

Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli, eh, it’s a beautiful gown no doubt but come on, Emma you’re 23 not 83! Let’s spice it up more next year please. Not to mention, you slightly copied Nicole Kidman from 2008.

Natalie Portman in Haute Couture Christian Dior gown from 1954, doesn’t work, the polka dots aren’t hip, definitely underplayed for a classy event like the Oscars. Bit frumpish on this swan.

Meryl Streep in Lanvin looks like Oscar’s twin.

Berenice Bejo in mint green Elie Saab makes her look old rather than the beautiful French woman she is.

Sandra Bullock in Marchesa….too much going on here, box on top, gown below and Greek god golden belt? No no no.

And the Downright Sexy:

Angelina Jolie in black velvet Versace, hello right thigh! Bit risque, but hey she’s got the bod and Brad doesn’t seem to mind.

Jason Segel, the How I Met Your Mother and The Muppet Movie star looking studly as ever flying solo.

Miss Piggy (seen here with Kermie) in a custom Zac Posen gown that was originally designed for The Muppets Movie.

Keep coming back for more post-Oscar updates and behind the scene footage from The Artist after party!
