Jessica Biel

Jessica Biel Gets “Psycho”
Alfred Hitchcock is one of the most celebrated directors in movie history. No wonder there are so many projects being developed around his persona. Deadline broke the story that Jessica Biel had been cast as one of the female leads in the Sacha Gervasi-directed Alfred Hitchcock and The Making of Psycho. Jessica will take the role of Vera Miles, who in turn played Lila Crane in the classic movie, Psycho. The cast that has been gathered for this film also include Anthony Hopkins who will play Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson who will play Janet Leigh and Helen Mirren as Hitchcock’s wife Alma Reville.

Adam Levine

Adam Levine Might Live a “Horror Story”
As season two of American Horror Story goes into development, a new name has surfaced to be part of the cast. Ryan Murphy, creator, has told Entertainment Weekly that Adam Levine is in negotiations to join the series. In order for him to accept the offer, production will have to work out a schedule that won’t interfere with his judging duties on The Voice or his tour with Maroon 5. The title of the episode that Adam would star in is “The Lovers,” so we can safely assume that there will be some gratuitous nudity, which we are not going to complain about.

Downtown Abbey

“Lady Sybil” lands in a “Winter’s Tale”
Jessica Brown Findlay, from Downtown Abbey, has landed the leading role in the Akiva Goldsman adaptation of Mark Helprin’s Winter’s Tale. The drama takes place in 19th-century Manhattan and Jessica will play a dying young woman who falls in love with a thief who breaks into her home. Aaron Johnson and Garrett Hedlund are the names that have been mentioned to play the thief, while Russell Crowe is in final negotiations to play the gangster boss.

Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi “Just Wants To Have Fun” In Reality Show
Cyndi Lauper will have cameras follow her around for a new reality show on We tv. The show executive produced by Mark Burnett has received a 12-episode order and will follow Cyndi’s day to day activities, both professionally and personally. Cyndi will start shooting next month for a summer premiere. Too bad the show is simply titled Cyndi, with so many song chart toppers the singer has, we could’ve gotten really punny.
