Bully: Weinstein Co.’s Newest Film…

The documentary Bully comes out this Friday. Directed by Sundance and Emmy winner Lee Hirsch, it’s a solid 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film follows five kids and families over one school year. Two of these families have lost children to suicide due to the “American bullying crisis.” One story follows a mother waiting to hear the fate of her 14-year-old daughter who is in jail for bringing a gun on her school bus.

It dives deep into the hearts of the schools, the kids and the bullies themselves. Why can’t we just all get along?

This film looks super inspiring, something everyone of any age should see. Check out the trailer below.

Bella’s Become a Vamp…

That’s right Twilight fans. Breaking Dawn Part 2 the teaser trailer was released this weekend and shows the first glimpse of Kristen Stewart, aka Bella, as a vampire.

The teaser’s short, as they usually are, but effective in the sense that it leaves you thirsty for more. My favorite line: “We’re the same temperature now.” Oh, Edward. So sweet.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 concludes the Twilight saga on November 16, 2012. Teaser below…

This Weekend at the Box Office…

No surprise here, Hunger Games takes number one with $155 million total — hitting its target range.

Coming up in far second is 21 Jump Street, the remake of the television show which stars Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. The film ranked in $21.3 million.

Bringing in number three was Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax with $13.1 million. This is The Lorax’s third week in the top three — way to go Dr. Seuss!

Happy Sunny (hopefully) Monday FilmFunders!
