I’ve always been a huge fan of “The Lone Ranger.” I remember waking up early before school to watch reruns of the show with my dad on Encore Westerns. So you might say I’m looking forward to the movie, despite its reported production stalls, bloated budget, and potential werewolf subplot.
Now even more reason: Jack White (previously of The White Stripes) is going to make his feature film scoring debut with the Johnny Depp-starrer, according to Variety. That’s probably a good indicator of the movie’s tone, and while we never would have pictures the legends of Tonto and the Lone Ranger set to the sound of Jack White, we’ll keep an open mind.
